Frame Breaker

Here the upgrade is the board, not the ball. Fire a volley of iron balls at the bricks marching down the screen in this turn-based brick-breaker roguelite. After every stage you bolt one part onto your iron frame: walls that wrap around, ceilings that tilt, helper launchers. Drag with one thumb to aim, and the aim line shows the damage each brick will take.

How to fire

Drag on the board to aim and let go: the balls leave in a rapid volley. On a keyboard, ← → nudge the aim, Space fires, P pauses and 1 2 3 pick a part. Everything works one-handed in portrait.

An aim line with damage numbers

While you drag, the aim line shows a "-number" at every brick the ball will bounce into. Parts lengthen the line, and test shots preview the whole volley before you commit. Every shot becomes a small puzzle.

24 frame parts

After each stage pick one of three. A part snaps into its socket (wall, ceiling, floor, corner or launcher) and picking it again upgrades it to Lv2. Every offer includes at least one part that changes the path of the ball, such as wrap walls, sloped walls, bounce plates, corner mirrors and helper launchers.

9 stages, 3 bosses

A run is 3 chapters of 3 stages. Stages 3, 6 and 9 end in a boss (the Gate, the Revolving Door, the Kiln Giant). There are 8 kinds of bricks: clay, hard, iron pillars, bombs, shields, splitters, supply and runners. Reach the bottom line and you lose a heart. A run takes about 5 to 9 minutes.

Workshop and heat

Bolts earned in a run buy new balls (6 starting balls in all), locked parts and permanent perks in the workshop, 14 items. After your first clear, heat levels 1 to 5 unlock: tougher bricks and fewer hearts. There are no random draws or loot boxes.

Daily Run

Everyone plays the same board each day, set by the date. Your score and streak are saved and you can copy a result to share. No server, no sign-up.
